Sayed Kashua on Humor, Hope, and Hopelessness

On Sunday, February 4, 2024 Sayed Kashua, an acclaimed Israeli-Palestinian author and screenwriter, presented this year's Reneé and Lester Crown Speaker Series to more than 200 attendees. His talk was titled "Sayed Kashua on Humor, Hope, and Hopelessness". Through personal recollections and film clips from his various television series, Kashua addressed the challenges faced as a Palestinian citizen of Israel, caught between two worlds.
