Teach-In on Current Events in Israel and Gaza

On Monday, October 16, faculty from the Jewish Studies Program met with over fifty Northwestern students, staff, and faculty for a teach-in on the situation in Israel and Gaza. The experts offered historical, political, and cultural background to help attendees gain a greater understanding of the current events in Israel and Gaza. The panel was moderated by David Shyovitz, Professor of History and included Professors Maayan Hilel, Shmulik Nili and Hanna Seltzer.
