Congratulations to our 2018 prize winners for the best undergraduate essays in Jewish Studies, Jun Kyung You and Adina Goldman! Jun Kyung You's paper "Morality as Means or Part of an End: Obscurities Surrounding the Status of Moral Perfection in Maimonides' The Guide of the Perplexed," was written for Professor Ken Seeskin's course on Maimonides. Adina's essay, "Rainmaker: Power, Presumption, and Precipitation in the Stories of Honi the Circle Maker," was written for Professor Richard Kieckhefer's Religion and Magic course.
